Message: I'm new to FTA and found dish pointing to be a real problem. I didn't want to pay $700 for a meter and saw the First Strike for a reasonable price.
As Murphy's Law would have it, my first try with the First Strike was when it was zero Fahrenheit outside.
My past experiences with dish pointing weren't good and I wasn't looking forward to it.
It took me literally 1 minute to point the dish with the First Strike, however.

Really good meter and at a good price.

Yesterday I swung the dish to a satellite to the far west that is low on the horizon and hard to get.  One minute later, I was perfectly aligned.
