Normally installing drivers and the ToolBox Editor will go smoothly, but in some instances the PC may be missing files or the drivers are not correctly installed. Below are a few 'solutions' that have been used.
If you are not able to connect to your meter, check to see that your drivers were installed correctly by reviewing your device manager.
Plug in the meter using the USB cable.
Open your 'Control Panel'
Open 'System'
Click the 'Hardware' tab
Click the 'Device Manager' button
Open 'Ports (COM & LPT)' and you should see 'Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM#)' showing the Com Port Number that was assigned.
Remember this Com port number to use with the FS1 ToolBox Editor.

If you do not see 'Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM#)' your
drivers are not loaded to your PC.
FS1 Drivers with 'Uninstaller' 7/20/10 (Advanced) - use this one if you are having problems installing the drivers and connecting to your meter. Instructions are included in the download.
